Our Booking PolicyRestorative Spaces are for current Notre Dame students. Reservations are limited to 60 minutes and you may book up to two reservations a day and they may be back-to-back.

The Living Room

Welcome to your home away from home. The Living Room has been designed to meet your studying needs. Grab one of our pre-packaged healthy snacks, and dive into your books. You’ll find comfy chairs and pillows, a huge dry erase board, and a soothing fireplace! Maximum capacity for this space is 10 people.

Please note: Due to ongoing construction inside St. Liam Hall, the elevator will be inaccessible until the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year. This will unfortunately restrict access to our offices and restorative spaces for some members of our community. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The Fort

In need of some green? The Fort will bring nature to you! Relax and unwind in McWell’s smallest and quietest space. You’ll find nature-themed cozy furniture, inspiring art, and even nature sounds. Bring your books, use it for a meditative space, or take a nap – it can be tailored to your needs! Maximum capacity for this space is 2 people.

The Break Room

You work hard and we want you to give yourself a break! Reserve our Break Room with a few of your friends and come try new things in our stress-relieving Break Room. We’ve got art kits available upon request as well as pre-packaged snacks. Maximum capacity for this space is 4 people.

Inner Resources Room

Need some help trying to relax? Visit the Inner Resources Room. Sit down in our massage chair. The room is equipped with biofeedback tools to help with stress relief, with a focus on guided breathing techniques.
